Mr David Bruce

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

Mr Bruce is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with an interest in knee and trauma surgery. He is researching gait in Total Knee Replacement and is experienced in all aspects of knee surgery.

David studied Medicine at Oxford University, where he also competed on the Cross Country team. Previously the double buggy marathon world record holder with a time of 2h54 (until it was broken in 2018), and with personal best times of 15m46 for 5k, 68m17 for HM, and 2h37 for a marathon, David has much experience in running and gait from both a medical stand point and an athletic one.
